Splattered!
I've been Inked!
If I were a peacock, my tail feathers would be fanned!!!
Several months ago, I submitted a few photos to Indie Ink for possible publication. Eventually forgot all about it, assuming I failed to make the cut. Then yesterday I received notification that one of my photos had been selected for publication. (Make sure to check out the published photo at the link above!)
The only digital peacock image I could find on my external hard drives doesn't show peacock pride. But I found a proud turkey. And well, hey, it's seasonal!

If you were entering the DSLR market, where would you start looking as a newbie like me? The number of choices etc is overwhelming.
Sorry to comment twice but I just returned from looking at your published photo. WOW! The detail is amazing but the birds also look downy soft. What kind of birds are they?
