seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?

It all looks so beautiful and clear-aired and DRY! (We're setting heat and humidity records this week in WI.)
ReplyDeleteI love the glimpses of mountain through the chinks in the cabin wall. And those asters are the loveliest colour in the world.
Hope the training continues to go well. :)
I am speechless...
ReplyDeleteWell that cabins is certainly sturdy if its stood more than a hundred years but does make me appreciate some of the advances in building no matter how thick those walls are when the wind blows its gotta get cold!
ReplyDeleteLooking through the wooden planks at the mountains is so cool!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I watched True Grit last night - this is exactly that sort of landscape. So American (and I mean that in a very positive sense, just to be clear :) )
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great stop in the mountains. That first photo in particular is quite inviting.
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell the clean, cool mountain breeze and feel the warmth of the sun shimmering through the slats in the walls.
ReplyDeleteSunshine falls... like rain, only softer.
I think that those photos are from a place where I rode last summer, over Cinnamon and Engineer Passes. It was gorgeous, and you captured it beautifully. I particularly liked the photos through the cabin windows and cracks!
ReplyDeleteWow! Stunning photos! I love them all - and think the ones with the cabin logs are especially awesome! Deb @ RaisingFigureSkaters.com
ReplyDeleteYou have the most beautiful surroundings! When I make it by to visit I am never disappointed. So beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI loooove your flower pics, all the time!!!
