Friday Funny
I used to live here. Sometimes the tourists were more fun to watch than the elk. I get such a kick when the elk tear up the golf course!

Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?

LOL that was a funny video :) Thanks for sharing!! Beautiful animals :)
ReplyDeleteOh this is great, and what a lovely place to have lived! I do know, (having seen moose live) that these darling light-footed- creatures need to be left alone...stand back and enjoy the view...I would hate to be stopped in traffic for long periods watching...but hey it's all about seeing the things around us right! Great Friday funny!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! We see a lot of deer these days but nothing like this. Must be something to live there and experience this.
ReplyDeleteI used to live and work in Banff. Tourists were so ridiculous about these beasts! Wanting to pet them, take photos WITH them.
ReplyDeleteThe video takes me back. aww such awesome wildlife!
Too funny. Aren't people clueless sometimes? The Goatmother remembers seeing people walk up to 2 ton Elephant seal asleep on the beach. Oy. Our elk, here, just like to raid all the farmers' fields. They have spotters just for that purpose. At least our elk aren't as grouchy as our Mountain Goats. :)
ReplyDeleteThat was great. I love that the elk never actually make contact, they just lower their heads and charge a bit, and the humans go running.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I've never seen anything like this. What fun!

I'm so glad everyone enjoys this! I miss living there. I'm anxiously looking forward to the next chance I get to hike or bike there. The scenery and wildlife are outstanding.
ReplyDeleteMarie, please be patient. That snowflake is coming next month. I have something special planned to go with that pattern.
