seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?

I share your fascination (love?) of the backside of leaves, with light shining through. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patty! Is there a stronger word for fascination/love??? Passion? Addiction??? :) I just can't get enough!
DeleteI love the deep shades of red. Growing up in NY, we had a Japanese maple that would always turn deep red in the autumn.
ReplyDeleteThank you, catsynth. I have wanted a red maple tree since I was a little girl; imagine my surprise when the house we bought (in winter, not knowing what was beneath all the deep snow) came with one already planted and mature enough to sprout all these gorgeous leaves!
DeleteRed maple leaves... such a rarity around here. Yours are so vibrant and so beautiful against the colorful sky.
ReplyDeleteThanks, KB. They literally were gone with the wind the very next day.
DeleteAlmost too beautiful to bear.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sue. It certainly doesn't last long enough!
DeleteParadise!
