Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?

I just went to look up a bit about Denver Union Station after looking at your pictures. Interesting project. It looks like the station has been in use all along except for the current construction? (More like Grand Central in NY than Michigan Central in Detroit, which is still abandoned.)
ReplyDeleteYes, still in use, and big plans in the future. The surrounding construction is really beginning to take shape, and I think it's going to be a beautiful project!
DeleteWow. That picture with the snow is fabulous? Is that real snow or photoshop, or will you admit? :) Also did you use a tripod??? I'm guessing yes.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marigold! No photoshopping here. (no time!!!) No tripod either. The first (grainier) photos are on the fly with the iPhone, and the last two are with the Nikon, hand-held, at 15th of a second. Leaning against a pole. Snow WAS real! Bring on more!!!
DeleteI love the reflection of the station in the last shot. It is gorgeous. :) And there is a snowflake in one pic. Bet you will use it as pattern. I can see small angels in it. If you lengthen the skirt and drop the three legs. :)
ReplyDeleteThe last photo is a delight
