Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?
You can talk to me... (Stevie Nicks)

Awesome post! :)
ReplyDeleteThank God there are still people in our great nation who believe freedom it's worth fighting and dying for if that's what it takes.
God bless the men and women who keep us safe daily, those past, present and future as well.
Blessings always
Thanks, Stitchy. Thank heavens there are still readers who appreciate our freedom and the sacrifices made. Thank you so much for stopping by!
DeleteSuch heart-warming pictures. Thanks for bringing it home to my heart one more time.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bren, and thank you for visiting today.
DeleteFabulous! Did you take the photos of the planes???
ReplyDeleteThank you, Marigold. Yes, all those photos are mine. I've been all those places. Plus, I was born just blocks from an army base and I grew up near an air force base, where the F-15 Eagles fly. So I have sonic booms (and missile firings) in my blood. :)
DeleteSad/happy Sigh. (Sad thoughts, lovely photos.)
ReplyDeleteI have sonic booms in my blood too, but no missile firings. :)
Oh, Sue, you are missing out on the spice of life! The scheduled and unplanned roadblocks, the men in suits with big guns to keep you from driving any further, the light show the missiles put up when fired at night...
DeleteThank you for these beautiful photos and the thoughts that they invoked. It is sad that so many of our brave men and women lose their lives each day in the name of freedom. I am so thankful that they do this to give me the chance to live my life as free as possible. They can't be thanked enough. Beautiful photos. Thank you again.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Grammy. I, too, thank those who have fought for our freedom. I'm so grateful there are still strong individuals who are willing to give whatever it takes to protect the freedoms we might sometimes take for granted.
