Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?
You can talk to me... (Stevie Nicks)

They sure look like they have it good in your home :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cat. I hope they have it good; I owe them for the joy they bring me!
DeleteVery pretty - I like the green new growth :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, catsynth. I love new growth, too, but most especially in winter!
DeleteIs that an Umbrella Plant? I've never seen one bloom, Miss Green Thumb. That first shot of the 'buds' almost looks like Hops. :)
ReplyDeleteHops... ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Good one, Marigold!
DeleteI was hoping someone might be able to help me identify it. We have four and have never known the name. I didn't know if these new little growths were going to produce seeds or flower or both, and in looking up the Umbrella Plant, it appears we have dwarf ones, and they do indeed flower! What a wonderful Christmas bonus!!!! Thank you for your assistance!
Wow, you have quite green thumb and a beautiful eye for how to photograph the details of the plants. In light of our new law, I momentarily misidentified that last plant :)
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I didn't know until Marigold suggested Umbrella Plant what it was, but I know it was not THAT. :)
DeleteThis is fascinating. Almost like stop-action photography!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue! Now that I know those little things growing on it might actually turn into flowers, I just may have to do this again with the progression!
DeleteJust lovely, light, growth, hope...
ReplyDeleteRight on, Neferi! That is precisely why we have houseplants, and why they bring so much joy!
