Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?

It looks like someone is fishing from your balcony. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that the Paypal worked OK for you.
ReplyDeleteWe had a joyous Christmas, and you are to thank in some ways. You've nurtured the seeds of enthusiasm that were buried deep inside. Thank you.
DeleteLove the high-rise pics. It has more of an autumn feel with the tree (and thus a bit melancholy).
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize when I posted these the architectural aspect would be right up your alley!
DeleteNo! No! No! No heights for me. I'm a feet on the ground kind of goat.
ReplyDeleteWhat if there were peanuts up high, Marigold??? ;)
DeleteI love the effect of images filtered through the blinds.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Margaret! In retrospect, I wish I'd had my good camera; I think it would have magnified the blind effect more than the iPhone possibly could, but I am glad I shot these while I had the chance!
Deletelol. I thought he was cleaning the windows at first. If I had a large window I would like to have that kind of curtain. :) Nice effects.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy New Year.
Giggle, giggle, Monica! He was cleaning the windows! But he took a lunch break, too, and then he ate his lunch at 31 floors up! (halfway up the building)
DeleteHappy new year to you, too!
A great series... Love the autumn leaves and the buildings. And the blinds do make a neat effect!
ReplyDeleteThanks, KB. I can't help but wonder if we will have a similar effect from the new blinds on our newly remodeled floor...
DeleteGosh, I hope those guys are well paid. I can't imagine doing that job - but perhaps they get used to the heights after a while. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteI looked it up one time many years ago, Sue, and I think they were being paid $38 per hour back then. Whew! I'm totally in the wrong line of work. But then again, I'm afraid of heights, so you couldn't pay me to do what he does!
