Or actually, colors of flowers very close to my heart.
Marigold asked just how many colors of Christmas cacti there are. These are the colors I know of, minus the red and white peppermint-striped specimen I saw a couple of years ago but did not buy because I didn't know I wouldn't see them again.
I love Christmas Cactus! They are always such a lovely splash of color during the winter months.
ReplyDeleteYou are just like my dear Mama who is now in Heaven, she always had many colors of Christmas Cactus growing at our home. Even when they do not have blooms, I still think they are pretty and lacy looking.
Blessings always dear friend. :)
Oh, Stitchy, you brought tears to my eyes with that story. Thank you! I can promise you as long as I have this blog, there will always be photos of Christmas cacti! I never, ever get tired of them!
DeleteWow, I had no idea they came in so many lovely tints. Can't decide which one I like best. Maybe someday you'll find another peppermint-striped specimen.
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to be a little more of an impulsive buyer next winter. I've passed up two Christmas cacti now I wish I hadn't!
DeleteWoo Hoo! I'm behind again, naturally. These are fabulous! I think I really like the apricot one. I've never seen anything but the red with a little pinkish thrown in there and the bright pink.. I guess that is fuschia. I guess I'm going to have to look harder to see what I can find! Neat, neat, NEAT! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI think I live behind these days, Marigold, so no worries. So glad you liked them! Thanks for inspiring the post!
