Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?

Very nice colors, you've done well :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Neferi! I still love it as much as the day I started buying the bright green fabrics. I've not tired of it yet.
DeleteBravo!!! It looks gorgeous! It's always so exciting looking at your pieces quit top and seeing what you have accomplished. Yay!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amanda! I didn't know many people know I quilt, too, so it was exciting to hear you are keeping track!
DeleteThat's beautiful! Looking at it makes me want to do a little celebration dance too.
ReplyDeleteHow about I'll pop on some Guns 'n Roses, and we can both dance? (I'm calling the quilt "Welcome to the Jungle." And I'm even thinking about quilting some jungle silhouettes into it...)
DeleteLooks amazing! Are you quilting it with white thread or a color? if so what? Also, what have you chosen for your backing?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jody. When I first started, I thought I would use the lime green I keep running out of... (I finally wised up and bought three spools, so that should last at least a couple of months. Ha ha!) But as I got started on the border, I wondered if a thread to match the lilac might look better. So I bought some of that, too.
DeleteThis is what I'm using for the backing.
I'm so behind in blog reading that I haven't been commenting - but seeing this beauty just made me pop out from the Google Reader. It is so lovely - what great colors and fabrics!
ReplyDeleteMarie, I'm so far behind in blog reading these days, I don't think I'll ever catch up. But it sure is fun knowing there is great content out there just waiting to be viewed and read!
DeleteThank you for the compliments on my quilt. Now if I can just get the quilting done...
That is positively gorgeous! Feels like I'm getting lost in a good bookstore every time I visit here...such a wonderful way to spend my time:)Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you, MJ! What a wonderful compliment!!!
