Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?
You can talk to me... (Stevie Nicks)

All great pieces indeed, Owl is tops for me
ReplyDeleteYes, Pat, some truly remarkable stitchers here. Maybe one day I can be among them!!! :)
DeleteThis week's post is definitely for the birds, but in the best possible way! ;)
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are the owls, too.
Thanks for the smile today, Catsynth!
DeleteI am always in awe of the art that quilter's produce. The very idea that you take fabric and use it as a painter does paints and then you end up with something so awesome and inspiring...it always takes my breath away.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you always dear friend. :)
Me too, Stitchy. I could not believe the details in so many of the pieces at the Denver National Quilt Festival.
DeleteWow! I'm a needleworker and therefore VERY impressed!
ReplyDeleteCameraGirl, I did not know you are a stitcher AND a photographer! I hope you will share some of your stitches one day!
DeleteThese are beyond praise ... what an amazingly talented bunch of quilters.
ReplyDeleteLove the seagulls and the stained-glass pelican ... and the "Wanted" pelicans. And the empty nests.
On second thought I love them all! :)
I'm with you, Sue. There were too many great ones to pick a favorite.
DeleteThose are beyond incredible. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks, KB! (Your new signature line brought a tear to my eyes today.)
