This is how far I got on my socks this year during Ride the Rockies. I bought the yarn last year to make socks during the 2012 Ride the Rockies, but I was so exhausted every day, I didn't get much done. I frogged the project, and the yarn balls waited until this year.
I finished the last tiny bit of the second heel on the train on the way to work three days after I got home from Ride the Rockies. I love my new Sockies!
Look like they'd be warm indeed.
ReplyDeleteQuite warm, Pat! I will enjoy the heck out of them this winter!
DeleteThey are adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings always dear friend.
Thanks, Stitchy! Memorable, too!
DeleteI love them too. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Monica!
DeleteThey're so pretty! I didn't know you could do an afterthought heel in crochet socks - but really, why not?
ReplyDelete2997064! You're up by a few hundred since last night! :)
Thanks, Sue! Any heel you can knit can be crocheted, too. Insert fist pump here. Yuppers, about 200 hits each night while I sleep, Sue. Except on the eve of turning. Only 94 that night!
DeleteLovely socks ♥.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Neferi!
