    1. Not too many city lights outside the mountain hamlets, Catsynth. It was a HUGE ride though. In more ways than one. I think about 3,000 riders participate each day, with 500 doing both days, and they climb three mountains passes in 120 miles each day. Whew!

  5. Happy sigh ... this post has EVERYTHING! :) Mountains, cycling, wildflowers, excitement, suspense, star athletes (the Lizard being the brightest among them of course). Can't wait to read tomorrow's post.

    P.S. LOVE that shot of paintbrush with Lizard in the background. Wow!
