Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?
You can talk to me... (Stevie Nicks)

Awesome shots indeed, that rock itself looks like some sort of animal as well.
ReplyDeleteHadn't thought of that, Pat, but I think you're right. Looks kind of like a dinosaur!
DeleteMost excellent! I remember watching that family. Another gem from "day of the bear."
ReplyDeleteOne of our best days on this vacation, Lizard! Cannot wait to go back!
DeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteLeft me speechless, too, Charlotte!
DeleteI would love to donate, not only because a young relative of mine has been diagnosed, but I would like to get the pattern book that has the turtle. My son calls his car 'the blue turtle' and I try to give him a blue turtle Christmas ornament each year.. God bless you for all your work and HOW do you do it all???? I weave baskets and may try to incorporate some of you ideas. I am just beginning to sell them and the profits will go to 'support the local autism support group, as I used to teach young pre-k ESE needs and breast cancer research as I have just recently been diagnosed. My present mantra is "I will not go quietly into the night' but then I do very little quietly. I am new to blogging. Let eme know how and I will send you some pix we have of osprey nests in the ICW in the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks again susan
ReplyDeleteBreast cancer?!? Oh, Susan, you will definitely be in my prayers. I love your mantra. How cool that you are supporting autism, too.
DeleteIt looks like donations are still being accepted here, but they (NMSS) had notified us a month ago they would be shutting the site down and closing out the books for the year as of September 30, and then the fund-raising for 2016 will begin in about December. So if by the time you see this, they HAVE shut down our donation page, please contact me via email, and I'll see if they (NMSS) will let me set up an arrangement as they did last year for donations between October and December to still be accepted but go toward the next drive.
Oh my goodness, they are just so adorable. What stunningly, incredible captures too. Such are the gifts of nature!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree, Karen... Gifts of Nature!
DeleteWhat an amazing trip, and incredible shots (as always) Those baby eagles (?) just look so at home for themselves up there, inspiring way to start the day looking at these!
ReplyDeleteOoh, aren't they gorgeous? And they sure know how to pick a good nest site. Imagine the view!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I see bald eagles on my rides. It's such a thrill. :)
