Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?

Not that is an awesome look at olden times. Would never want to get on Wyatt Earp's bad side.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was like stepping back in time, Pat. Except for the wifi... :)
DeleteOh, I LOVE that very last photo!!!!
ReplyDeleteGo figure! I thought you'd like the headlight best, Marigold!
DeleteFun series of photos of a cool little area. Hmmmm... I'm guessing the Duke drove the VW up to Pitkin.
ReplyDeleteNaaaaaaa, Lizard. He rode a horse. :)
DeleteVery cool photos. The rusted car in the field looks like something I would photograph :)
ReplyDeleteAnd WiFi sign on the old mine building is cute.
I'd love to see what photos you could come up with here, Amanda!
DeleteAn extremely fun series of photos. I think we're still supposed to deposit our firearms someplace before entering a bar ;)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a good time in Pitkin.
It started snowing before we left, KB! Got outta Dodge so quick, we forgot to pick up our firearms on the way out!!! :D
DeleteAn atmospheric series. Im not sure that I'd want to eat at the Road Kill Cafe though. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou and me, both, Fundy! And yet, that's the kind of food they ate most of the time!
DeleteWhat a fun post, and wow, I love that windmill shot. I recognise this setting from one of Lizard's posts.
ReplyDeleteDo you think that really was a bike? It almost looks like a setup to power something by pedalling (feel I haven't expressed that clearly but I hope you know what I mean). :)
Hmmm... I wonder if The Lizard and I shot the same windmill, Sue... heh heh heh!
DeleteNo, it truly is not a bike. I was being funny. I think The Lizard told me it's a sharpener. It was pedaled, but not as a mode of transportation.
