Way back in the days of the dinosaurs, I signed up for Instagram, basically to reserve my Snowcatcher name and prevent anyone else from using it. I never posted a single thing because my internet access issues prevailed in all circumstances.
I have a-little-bit-improved home internet access now, better than I have ever had in the past. Ever. I thought it might be fun to post my first Instagram picture. I thought it would be cool to be able to instantly share a photo of The Wave if we ever make it there again. Maybe I could even post a Ride the Rockies or MS-150 photo during the actual events! I assumed it might be necessary to get my account going.
Surprise, surprise!
Little did I know Instagram has an Inactive User Policy.
On the very bright side, I think no one can use Snowcatcher and pretend to be me. On the very dark side, I can't use it now, either. No fair!
So I did the next best thing: TheSnowcatcher. Yuppers, I took the plunge. No fresh Wave photos (YET!!!), and I'm still pretty new at this, but I have begun posting on Instagram, and I plan to stay at least a little active so I don't lose this user name, too.
Gosh, does this mean I have to dive more into Pinterest, too?!?
haha god luck managing it all as it can take up a lot of time. Thesnowcatcher works just fine, makes you sound more important.
ReplyDeleteToo much time, Pat. Too, too much time! Thanks for the compliment on the on-the-fly name. Maybe that will work out okay!
