Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?
You can talk to me... (Stevie Nicks)

Try to break through with all the crappy winter still shining away
ReplyDelete16 more inches on the way tonight, Pat. I'll have to see what kind of unusual surface I can use to capture the next round...
DeleteDefinitely a bike gear! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't they just take your breath away?
P.S. Nice tulips!
Thank you, Sue! Yes, almost all snowflakes take my breath away. And the tulips were valentines from my Sweetie!!!
DeletePeppermint flakes, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lizard! The tulips made an awesome background, as well as brighten some literally dark sunshineless winter days!
DeleteLovely. Interesting to see the snowflakes against the petals :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amanda! I'm always looking for new ways to catch snowflakes!
DeleteYou are so talented! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Charlotte!
DeleteOh I love tulips. So elegant. The snowflakes are pretty. Mine are almost gone...it's amazing what a turbo powered hair dryer can do with a little determination! :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should take my hair dryer outside and blow away some of the 16 inches falling now, Stitchy?!? :)
DeleteWow! Those macros are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patty! I'm hungry to go out and do more, but it's dark, cold, and I'm tired! :)
DeleteSo beautiful. We had 6-7inches in north ga. Wish I could have gotten such beautiful photos. Tried and it didn't work.
ReplyDeleteIs that normal for you, Di? I've never been to Georgia, but I know there are some good bike rides there, nice and hilly.
DeleteSnowflakes are a challenge to shoot. I've been trying for years, and I finally started having a bit of success when I broke down and bought a set of macro tubes. (I'd promised myself I wouldn't buy any more camera equipment, but the macro tubes have been very much worth the $70 or so it cost!)
Tulips and ice crystals - what a beautiful combo!
