    These are gorgeous - and so captures that relief everyone feels when you see flowers pushing their way up through the snow. Ice is pretty but it's not a patch on Spring.

      They are truly great signs of hope, Niahm! If we can escape this next two-day storm without a deep freeze, perhaps the columbine, delphiniums and lupine will be next!
