Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?
You can talk to me... (Stevie Nicks)

Beautiful! I think a Mother's Day storm may be the new normal.
ReplyDeleteI guess so, Lizard. Now if only we could teach the plants to be a little patient and wait to start blooming!
DeleteIsn't it gorgeous stuff? I just discovered some here at the prairie restoration project yesterday. So tropical-looking!
ReplyDeleteI've absolutely loved my lupine, Sue. I didn't get any blossoms last year, and now I wonder if someone snuck in and ate them, and I just didn't notice then...
DeleteFull bloom once more, eww to the snow though, hopefully you see no more of that for a long while
ReplyDeleteIf we get another snow now, Pat, oh, my goodness, I don't even want to think about it! But it has happened. We got 13 inches on Memorial Day one year, and my kids were supposed to be working their first jobs at Water World that day!
DeleteSo many interesting radial patterns. I like the way the lace matches the patterns of the flowers and leaves.
ReplyDeleteExcellent pictures. Just excellent. My favorite would be number 4. Yep, I counted them.
ReplyDeleteGlorious photos of your incredible lupine!!!! It has been a tough spring. I planted lettuce 3 wks ago but it just sprouted today. Of course, up here, our last frost date is 6/15, making gardening very tough. Your photos give me hope!
