Dusty words lying under carpets,
seldom heard, well must you keep your secrets
locked inside, hidden deep from view?

I love the pattern on the snake's skin. So intricate!
ReplyDeleteHope you'll swing by http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/08/double-play-on-way.html to check out some other great photos! Feel free to link up!
Thank you, Sue! Thank you, also, for the wonderful invitation! Your blog is superb! Unfortunately, I don't have adequate internet access to participate reciprocally in a weekly link-up, but I sure do think yours is fantastic!
Deletehaha neat special effects, the box is great. The snake sure looks like it's not to be messed with.
ReplyDeleteI was fortunate this little guy/gal stayed coiled while I snapped a couple of photos, Pat. They can strike the length of their body, and I was definitely too close for one of these shots!
DeleteJust when I thought you'd covered every wildlife possibility, you find this guy. Love the top shot, and did a big LOL at the edited ones, especially the Rubik cube!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Niahm! Love to keep you jumping and guessing! Actually, I love to stalk wildlife, and it's a pleasure to share it here because I work with some folks who can't tolerate pictures of reptiles. :)
DeleteCome hither...
ReplyDeleteI like the first shot and snake in a box the best. They're all cool shots. He/she was more docile than a lot of the rattlers in this canyon.
Thanks, Lizard! I thought you were going to bean me for getting too close on that first shot. Thank you for putting up with me and being ready to snatch me out of harm's way!
DeleteThe snake is gorgeous! And he/she certainly posed well for you. Was it sunning time? :)
ReplyDeleteEither sunning time or warming up time, Amanda. It got a tiny bit chilly the night before, and I think that road surface had some desirable heat for a cold-blooded rattler.
DeleteVery impressive, and a bit chilling too!
ReplyDeleteThe Rubik's cube version is hilarious.
