I did not think I would be able to complete another WIP by the end of March. I just wasn't home often enough to sew. But after finishing little neighbor's quilt in a weekend, I decided if I could finish an entire preschooler quilt in less than 30 hours, I could off-center spiral quilt an already sandwiched WIP that's been waiting for at least two years.
Cool Edge of the Rainbow features my favorite colors and my favorite type of fabric (floral batiks), especially when making clothing! Now that I've finished three quilts with the rainbow floral batik jelly roll strips I cut myself, I have enough left over to make a pair of tropical shorts, and just in time for (hopefully) coming warmer weather!

Love your finish!! the quilting is perfect for it - but the photo in front of the mountains!! I LOVE that one!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alycia! It's been too long since we've been to Moab, and the novelty of snow was more than I could resist!
