I finished all my WIPs!!!
April Fool!
However, I did use up all my scraps!!!
And it's still April 1st. Ha ha ha! How I wish!!!
I did, though, finish a quilt. For real! Ten minutes after the Winter Quarter deadline, but it was still March 31 in my time zone. Time For Me To Fly was finished at 10:10 p.m. on March 31. So I've finished one WIP quilt every month so far this year, and I'm hoping to stay on track for the rest of the year and get down to single digits. !!! And maybe instead of being Ravelry's Queen of the Last Minute (a designation I have earned several times in the past for continually trying to finish a binding on the final night of the challenge), perhaps now I can qualify as a Speed Queen and be the first finish for the Spring Quarter!!!
Here is my shorter WIP list for the Spring Quarter:
1. Hawaiian Punch
Linking up with Alycia Quilts and Confessions of a Fabric Addict.
LOL on your opening comment!!! I enjoy seeing all your projects!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nancy. It certainly made me laugh. Hopefully I can actually finish all of them one day... :)
DeleteThat might be the best Aprils Fools yet - I totally fell for it!!
ReplyDeleteTime for me to Fly is amazing!! Congrats on an awesome finish!!
Thank you, Alycia! I secretly wanted to finish an all-scrap project, too, so I could say I actually did finish a few, even if not all, but I couldn't get the binding done on Time for Me to Fly fast enough!!!
DeleteWoo hoo on the first finish of the quarter.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deb! (Great name!!! wink, wink.. ) Yes, it was pretty awesome to be the Speed Queen for a change!!!
DeleteYou've got some great quilts in the works! I love the Moda Blockheads. A finish every month is pretty great in my book.
