Snowflake Monday

Today's pattern is inspired by last week's Grandmother's Hat. I didn't initially plan to make a snowflake using the hat pattern, but as I was pinning one of my samples, I decided I had to try.

Now that I've tried, I think I need to try this one more time somewhere down the road because I didn't incorporate many of the hat rounds in this version. It would be fun to see if I could come up with a pattern using more of the rounds. I think it would be quite a unique flake!

You may do whatever you'd like with snowflakes you make from this pattern, but you may not sell or republish the pattern. Thanks, and enjoy!

Finished Size: 5 inches from point to point

  1. I like this. The outer round is so airy and makes such a pretty contrast with the lacy points it encloses.
